But I am certain that if we have a strong econmy the NEP in its present can be sustained. Hence, a shrewed government will spare no efforts to strengthen the economy and then worry about how you are going to disrtibute it. As ktteokt says it, they are afraid of their own shadow. It's because they have been brainwash by corrupted leaders who are afraid of being push to the corner. When they are being driven to the corner, they will have a lot to lose. So they claim that becoz they are being challenged, their race superority is being challenged.
Why hark over something that is not ever going to happen and concentrate on building the country. What would you have achieve if you have your superiority and the country is going back 40 years in time in terms of development. Bear in mind, that statitics have shown that every new born child is slapped with at least RM20000.00 debt the moment they see daylight.

Morever whatever the goverment purchased, the tag is put on the rakyat. Ask the leaders when was the last time they really dig into their pockets to finance any projects or ventures for the good of the kampungs/housing estates. So whenever we apply for allocations, we have every right to push it as it's our own money.

Look at Brunei, a small country which only depend on oil. Every citizen will have a house, do not even pay tax and still very much ahead of us in everything.

Another up and coming country, Vietnam. A country ravage by decades of war. It's going to overtake Malaysia in development status in the next 5 to 10 years. If peoples of 2 different ideas and thinking can work together to build a nation, I can see no reason why can't we.Malaysian1957https://www.blogger.com/profile/17622938509949872252noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4812887797823417098.post-34218290911353285322010-03-03T20:15:58.081+08:002010-03-03T20:15:58.081+08:00The Malays in this country control every aspect of...The Malays in this country control every aspect of government. In the private sector with the help of the GLCs and the Frderal Treasury this rent seeking economy controls every aspect of life. In a snese our economy and system of government is no different from that of the Government of Animal Farm.

Get real, those countries that were at the same station as us in the 60s have all joined the ranks of the First World. Some countries like Korea were even below us at that time. Wake up before it is too late and stop looking for that black cat- hak Melayu dicabar-in a dark room that is not there.
