PAS has again alleged that Umno had recently approached spiritual adviser Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat, up to five times and with an offer of three ministerial posts, to persuade the Islamic party (PAS) to form a unity government with BN.

According to the PAS' Pasir Puteh MP Muhammad Husain, Nik Aziz revealed these latest overtures at a gathering of the Kelantan diaspora in Dengkil, Selangor.

"Yes, it is true. He said there were five meetings. It happened recently. It was related to cooperation between PAS and Umno," said Muhammad Husain, who was at the gathering.

He also claimed that the Nik Aziz, who is Kelantan menteri besar, had told the gathering that PAS had been offered three ministerial posts if it agrees to form a joint government with BN.

Nik Aziz, a respected Islamic scholar, has been a vocal critic of cooperation with Umno, constantly reminding members and leaders about PAS' BAD experience in having formed an alliance with Umno in the 1970s.

The idea of forming an unity government with Umno has been raised at almost all party polls in recent years although delegates had rejected the proposal at the 2008 Muktamar (annual assembly).

According to Muhammad, Nik Aziz had downright REJECTED the latest deal as PAS already has a pact with DAP and PKR under Pakatan Rakyat.

He said Nik Aziz told the gathering that Umno had been attempting to convince PAS since April last year when Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak was toying with the idea of both Malay-centric parties working together.

Muhammad said the gathering attracted about 500 people, including PKR secretary-general Saifuddin Nasution and parliamentarians Abdul Aziz Abdul Kadir (PKR-Ketereh), Abdullah Sani (PKR-Kuala Langat).

This was confirmed by others who were at the high-tea event, and who also expressed shock at Nik Aziz's revelation.

stupid umno!

the majority of the malays supports umno and the majority of the chinese supports dap

so the kerajaan perpaduan should be umno and dap

the perpaduan of malays and chinese is the REAL MALAYSIAN PERPADUAN

the perpaduan of umno and pas is a declaration of war between the malays and the chinese

umno are you that stupid?

It is both tragic & a shame that Malaysians after all these 54 years of independence, we Malaysians still have the mind set of the above commentator; it means that Malaysians have still to achieve nationhood, because it is this mind set that make us remain Malays, Chinese & Indians; this is the core of Malaysian's racist problems. We know that racism is not good for Malaysia but we still stick to it; we all know that UMNO is not good for the nation but we still return an UMNO gov't every general election; what is it that makes the Malaysian mind so dense ?

We don't need UMNO plus DAP or UMNO plus PAS to keep UMNO in power, because UMNO is the common denominator and it is UMNO that has entrenched themselves PLAYING THE RACE CARD, so why UMNO plus DAP ? or UMNO plus PAS ? We need a government that succeeds on GOOD GOOD GOVERNANCE and in this respect UMNO has consistently failed all Malaysians for all of these 54 years. Why not try an alternative, try Pakatan, they have proven their worth in Selangor, Penang, Perak was taken from Pakatan by the sheer dint of treachery and corruption' Why not Pakatan ? It will take only 4 years to vote them out if they are not a good government. Malaysians have lived with the hardships of 54 years of UMNO government so what is so tragic if Malaysians voted Pakatan into government and if they are bad vote them out in 4 years time.

Nik Aziz Nik Mat spiritual leader of PAS is the first Malay leader who has the wisdom to understand that Malaysia needs to build a modern nation and to achieve that race should not be the only consideration. I am not speaking for Dato Nik Mat when I say that Malaysia will achieve nationhood on the day when all Malaysians will see themselves as citizens of one Malaysia; that is the day when Malaysians will not be searching the globe to find a suitable home to move to.

There is definitely something wrong when 1 million or likely more than 1 million of the citizens of any nation migrates to find more suitable places to live; what is wrong with Malaysia ? All opinions except for the opinions of UMNO bloggers, say that racism is the main issue for their migration and why is it that UMNO does not see it ? It is because the race card is the only tool in UMNO's "play-book"; they can't think of anything else to win their election; 54 years of this shit and UMNO is still stuck with it.

For most Muslims, one TALAQ is more than enough. For all Muslims, TALAQ x 3 kali is the maximum. But for UMNO, 5 times still don't understand ah?

Real unity means sharing.
Sincere unity means the BN inviting PR into federal positions.
Never mind if PR is the Bn's opposition. Give PR a few low key federal positions . This will be even better than the 1Malaysia crap.
This will be the ultimate unity for both sides and all Malaysians.
But, look at the sneaky rats , they are just inviting Pas.
