Dr Mahathir Joined the Family of Malaysian 'Monkeys"

Malaysiakini reports:

"Dr Mahathir Mohamad launched his own blog today, becoming the latest among many politicians who are crowding cyberspace to air their views." Read here for more

So did the Prime Minister Abdullah Badawi's politically ambitious son-in-law who publicly denounced Malaysian bloggers as "MONKEYS".

A Gentle Reminder:

Bernama, UMNO-led Government's mouthpiece, reported on 28th July 2007:

" UMNO wants bloggers who resort to slander to be brought to book, said Umno Youth deputy chief Khairy Jamaluddin.

He told reporters,"There are no laws in the cyberworld except for the law of the jungle. As such, action must be taken so that the 'MONKEYS' behave."

Then on 7 March 2008 , Star, MCA's mouthpiece, reported:

"Umno Youth deputy chief Khairy Jamaluddin, who is contesting the Rembau parliamentary seat, has joined many other general election candidates in the political fray by entering cyberspace to reach out to voters.

Khairy stated that his website was a means for him to share his hopes, aspirations and goals. My website will show you who I am, what I believe in, what I stand for and what I actually say (as opposed to being taken out of context),” it added.

And the following UMNO and BN politicians have also joined to be part of the family of Malaysian "MONYET/MONKEYS":

The Lesson from UMNO/BN:
