PAS YOUTH: THE ENEMY IN PAKATAN RAKYAT'S BLANKET

PAS Youth is NO Different from UMNO Youth.

PAS YOUTH is Playing Racial Politics in Disguise as Islamic Issues

The Truth is that PAS Leaders like Nasharudin Mat Isa, Mustapha Ali, Hadi Awang, Nasrudin Awang and Hassan Ali have shown to be NOT COMFORTABLE working with NON-Muslims and NON-Malays in Government.

PAS Leadership' s Support to Pakatan Rakyat is Ambivalent and Confusing to Pakatan Rakyat Voters.

WITH PAS' s CURRENT PERFORMANCE AGAINST PAKATAN RAKYAT STATE GOVERNMENTS,
TIME TO SERIOUSLY RECONSIDER THE WORTH OF VOTING PAS CANDIDATES TO REPRESENT PAKATAN RAKYAT IN FUTURE BY-ELECTIONS AND THE 13TH GENERAL ELECTION.

BETTER TO HAVE A POLITICAL ENEMY OUTSIDE OF PAKATAN RAKYAT THAN HAVING AN ENEMY SHARING THE SAME PILLOW

UMNO'S INSIDERS IN PAS LEADERSHIP

Selangor PAS Youth, led by its chief Hasbullah Ridzwan had planned to hold a protest against the SELANGOR Pakatan Rakyat Government . Read here for more

He was quoted as saying that the rally would proceed at the Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Mosque in Shah Alam on friday whether or not a police permit was obtained.

Selangor PAS information chief Roslan Shahir Mohd Shahir said the party will begin a statewide campaign to push the state government into stripping Liu of this particular portfolio.

On Wednesday, Selangor PAS chief Datuk Hassan Ali had asked Liu to be stripped of his portfolio after accusing him of meddling in enforcement action by the Shah Alam City Council (MBSA) which had confiscated beer worth RM620 from a 7-Eleven outlet.

Liu said they did not have the authority to conduct such action and had directed MBSA to return the beer and apologise to the outlet’s owner.

The central PAS leadership has announced that it will NOT interfere in Selangor's ongoing alcohol-ban debate.

Contacted today, PAS Youth chief Hasbullah Mohd Ridzwan said the demonstration was called off in view of Menteri Besar's Khalid Ibrahim's pledge to resolve the matter by tomorrow.

He stressed that Selangor PAS Youth will only hold demonstrations as a last resort should all other efforts fail.

"Since the Menteri Besar has asked for time and some room for the government to come out with a solution, we will wait for his announcement," he said.

Hasbullah said he and other Selangor PAS Youth leaders held a meeting with Liu on Tuesday and that they are currently studying the latter's responses.

He said during the meeting, Liu was informed that many Muslims in the Shah Alam area were upset over his alleged interference with MBSA's beer raid.

Permatang Pasir By-Election: Non-Muslims/Non-Malays Swing Votes Will Decide BN/UMNO or PAS Win

Read here for more and here

In the general election in 2008, Mohd Hamdan polled 11,004 votes to beat UMNO candidate Ahmad Sahar Shuib by a majority 5,433 majority to win the seat.

The constituency has 20,350 registered voters of which 72.93 percent are Malays, 25.87 percent Chinese and Indians 1.1 percent.

Without going into details and assuming that the Malay votes are split 55:45 in favour of PR, that means PR will have an advantage of approximately 1,466 Malay votes.

(But) if BN were to choose a candidate from Gerakan or MCA (who are both hungry for a win to prove that they are still a factor in Malaysian politics), there is possibility that the Chinese 5,087 votes will swing to BN.

As for the 407 Indian votes, this is the time for P Uthayakumar to prove that he still has the Indians' support by placing a candidate from his newly formed Human Rights Party (HRP). If P Uthayakumar can get 407 solid Indian votes here then his HRP may survive, if not we can start saying good bye to his HRP.

However Indian voters have traditionally lean towards BN.

Party president Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak said BN will contest the Permatang Pasir by-election. Dr Ahmad Zahid said the BN would put up the best of the potential candidates, adding that he knew that PAS had two prominent leaders from whom to choose from to contest the seat.

He said Permatang Pasir was not a PAS stronghold and that the BN had a chance of winning the seat as the internal problems in Umno which led to its defeat previously had been almost resolved.

The question remains: Will the BN, specifically Umno, prevail or at least reduce PAS's majority in Permatang Pasir, one of the three state constituencies under the Permatang Pauh parliamentary constituency?

A political analyst said it all depended on the depth of sentiment, perception and psychology of voters in the area. Generally, political analysts say that the component parties of MCA, Gerekan and MIC play an important role in attracting the support of the 24.5 per cent Chinese voters and six per cent Indian voters.

"Permatang Pauh can be counted as a Pakatan area although the Seberang Jaya state constituency is controlled by Umno," political analyst Dr Sivamurugan Pandian told Bernama. The other state constituency, Penanti, is under Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR).

Sivamurugan did not discount the possibility of a reduced majority for PAS. However, it all depended on how well the BN party components move as an effective team, to solve internal problems, to enlist a suitable candidate and to play up the right issues.

With that scenario in place, is BN creative and bold enough to place a Gerakan candidate to stand in Permatang Pasir? Why Gerakan and not MCA? Gerakan's internal problems are related to the now-suspended Gerakan's VP, CG Huan.

If Gerakan is given the mandate to placed their candidate there, it will be a barometer to gauge the Chinese support to Gerakan's decision to suspend CG Huan for 3 years.

Any failure to get the solid backing of Chinese voters means that Gerakan is rejected in Penang and at the same time indicates that the Chinese objected to Gerakan's decision to uphold CG Huan's suspension.

Since PAS previously held the seat, PR is expected to maintain the status quo and let PAS work out who their candidate shall be. Speculations are rifed that PAS may named Mohamad Sabu as their candidate. After all, PAS has only 1 single state seat in Penang.

Yeah ...right! Let's vote for BN to rule us for another 50 years. Looks like we are ok if rotting under BN rules for another 50 years but feel hellish under PR rules for not even a term.

Really don't understand the reasoning!!!
